So by now you probably all know that Leigh Whannell aka Adam Faulkner-Stanheight aka the other dude in the room with Cary Elwes in the first Saw movie from 2004, wrote the script/screenplay for Saw along with James Wan who also directed it. Ever since the first Saw movie came out I have wanted to express how I feel about Leigh Whannell's performance as the chained man across from Robin Hood, man in tights. His performance was probably one of the worst and least convincing pieces of acting I have ever witnessed. I can only imagine what was going through James Wan's head while he was looking into the camera, watching this bowel movement of an acting job. I'm not saying I could do any better but Leigh, this film is your baby, cast someone who can get the job done. You managed to snag Danny Glover for god's sake! All I can say is that i hope he has learned from his mistakes. He had a small role in the 2007 movie Death Sentance with Kevin Bacon, but his performance was tiny and easily forgettable. He does deserve credit, however, for creating one of the most infamous horror franchises in movie history. Horror buffs will make the arguement that the Saw films don't even rank close to other classics but they have to admit that the Saw franchise has definitely changed and shaped the horror genre into a whole new beast. Leigh Whannell, quit acting and stick to writing......please.
