So my girlfriend and I have started a new tradition. Every wednesday we go over to my dads house to babysit my 2 younger siblings while my dad and step mom go off doing whatever it is that they do. We eat, play games, watch tv, and then finally put the kids to bed. At 9:00pm we switch the tv over to the SciFi/SyFy channel and watch Ghosthunters. This show has been on tv for a while now but has only recently started seeing a huge spike in viewers. The early episodes of this show(e.g. the first season) were awesome. It seemed like every week they would catch a new piece of video footage or a new EVP. They always cycled through team members as to keep the show fresh and to get different points of view and different investigating methods. In the current season they have settled on a usual crowd and have 'guest' investigators or 'celebrity' investigators. This is kind of lame because i liked seeing how annoyed the team would get at Brian for sucking at his job every week. Anyways, it seems like they are really running out of cool and exciting places to investigate. They seem to be able to disprove pretty much every case they come across now. I feel like i'm watching the special late night edition of the real estate showcase. "This door creaks. Oh my god theres a draft coming from this window. ZOMG SPIDERS!!!". Oh TAPS how I miss the old you. Please come back to me. Don't air episodes where you figure out they have a bunch of wires in the ceiling. That shit is lame. Why do we keep watching this show you ask? Becuse they might actually find something this time.
